With your continued support, the SHAD’S  R&R Golf Tournament for Muscular Dystrophy has surpassed    $5 Million Dollars in total contributions to Muscular Dystrophy Canada. Last year, at the close of our 2019  tournament, a cheque for $150,000.00 was presented.

The proceeds from the annual golf tournament have been invested in world-class research projects that are helping to answer questions about neuromuscular disease and finding ways to improve the medical care and quality of life for the young children that are affected by these conditions.

By partnering with other funding organizations, MDC is able to double – and sometimes triple – the impact of your research dollars.

Your ongoing support provides the availability of funds to ensure research will continue towards a cure for Muscular Dystrophy. To-date, we’ve made great progress! As well, it enables Muscular Dystrophy Canada to improve the quality of life for those already afflicted with the disease.

The 2020 SHAD’S R&R Golf Tournament will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Station Creek Golf & Country Club.

CHEQUES AND INCOME TAX RECEIPTS
PLEASE MAKE CHEQUES PAYABLE TO SHAD’S R&R. Muscular Dystrophy Canada will issue income tax receipts (where applicable) a few months after the tournament. .

GOLF FORMAT – START TIME OF 10:00 AM!
Format is a 4 man scramble. Teams can be pre-registered with application or left to golf committee for make-up. Starting positions will be pre-assigned in order to speed up registration. Please check in with starter at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled 10:00 am SHARP shotgun start.

TROPHIES
Trophies will be awarded to golf winners.

MEDIA
Local newspapers, automotive trade magazines, exposure on the day of the tournament  provide numerous opportunities for exposure as a Major Sponsor – an elite group of individuals and prestigious companies striving to help Muscular Dystrophy Canada “Help the Kids”.

Sign Sponsorship

If your company, or you as an individual, wish to sponsor a sign, your name or company’s logo/greeting will appear on a professionally painted real-estate sized sign staked on the course. Please advise us on your registration form what you would like featured on your sign. If you are using a company logo, please provide 2 color samples. In the case of re-sponsorship, it is preferable to use your existing sign(s) to reduce operating costs and ensure maximum funds go to M.D.  If a new sign is required, a charge of $100.00 is applicable.

Make a Pledge

You may make a pledge in any amount and the entire pledge will go directly to Muscular Dystrophy Canada. Please identify personal or company pledge for income tax purposes. Cheque should be made payable to Muscular Dystrophy Canada.

Golf Tickets

Tickets are on a first come, first served basis with preference going to Major Sponsors. Tickets are released upon receipt of your registration form and cheque. No telephone or facsimile registrations will be honored. This year’s golf format will again be the “four man scramble”, shotgun start at 10:00 am SHARP in order to assure more social time for everyone both prior to the start (come for breakfast) and after the finish. There will be plenty of time for a hot shower, cool drink and conversation before dinner. Golfers are asked to be on time. Golf carts are required for the shot gun format and will be pre-assigned by the golf committee.

Banquet Only Tickets

$100

Tickets are available at a cost of $100 each (limit 2 tickets). Allocation only to those who have already made a donation under General Sponsorship or Sign Sponsorship. Preference is given to Major Sponsors and the banquet begins at 4:45 pm.

Additional Signage

$500

You can sponsor an additional course sign(s) at a cost of $500 each.

Station Creek Golf & Country Club is located at 12657 Woodbine Ave., Gormley, between Stouffville Side Road & Bloomington Side Road on the East side.
